Well hello there! I have survived this far and apparently so have you. Nice to meet you. My name is Nicki and I have 4 children. Two step-sons and two beautiful daughters of my own. Daughters! EEK! That was something I was not ready for. I was comfortable with my two boys. I love all boy things: legos, football, getting dirty. Princesses and pretend is not my jam. Or, should I say, was not my jam.
When I found out I was having a girl, I literally cried. Yep, right there at my gender reveal party. I saw the pink smoke flutter through the air and immediately started pouting. A few days later I got over it and started planning and creating my registry of all things pink and floral.
That May my life changed. I was 100% meant to be a girl mom. The joy that little girl brought to my life was incomparable to anything else I previously experience. I loved everything about it. The styles, the colors for the nursery, the outfits! OH SO MANY OUTFITS! Of course no outfit was complete without a bow! A must have anytime she went anywhere. She, Bennett, was the easiest baby. She was so chill and learned everything with ease. She was the most alert human and picked up everything with minimal direction.
Two years later, almost to the day, I had my second daughter, Parker. We call her Sparky Parky because oh man, that girl is a firecracker. She is everything that Bennett was not. She needs a ton of attention and pukes all the time! And I mean ALL the time. Despite those factors she is a very cute and smiley baby!
